NEW YEAR’S EVE - BaitSTL

We are not big New Year’s Eve people. We like to go out someplace nice, but go out early and then come home to a quiet evening. This year we decided to try someplace different and made reservations to BaitSTL. We were not disappointed!!!!

First of all this is in an old building in midtown St. Louis. From our entrance we felt like we stepped into someone’s warm and cozy, yet fancy, home.. From the main room, to the bottle room (where we dined) to the Octopus room, everything is full of ambiance.

We had a couple of their specialty cocktails, the lobster fries, the scallops (which yes had popcorn on them), and the Squid Ink Pasta. All the dishes were prepared and exquisitely presented. This restaurant is definitely a try for those seafood lovers. It also looked like there was a nice front patio for outside seating in warmer weather! We will be back.
